All five paper stocks are compatible with our in-house Scodix digital foil press — choose Standard 14pt or 16pt C1S for full-color printed cards with optional foil accents, or upgrade to Premium 115-134lb Uncoated Smooth Cover for a heavier, luxury substrate that delivers exceptional foil and Spot UV results.

Variable Data Printing — every card unique:

Our HP Indigo press supports true variable data printing, meaning every single card in your run can be different. Printed in a single press pass at the same speed as a static run.

How it works:

1. Choose your personalization tier in the calculator
2. Upload your design with placeholder fields ({FirstName}, {Photo1}, etc.)
3. Upload your data file (CSV or Excel) with one row per card
4. We send you a digital proof of each variant within 24 hours
5. After approval, your full run prints in 1-3 business days

Pricing covers data file processing, mail-merge setup, and digital proofing for variant review.

A few notes on personalization:

• VDP orders require a minimum 3-day production turnaround due to data proofing and variant approval. Same-day and next-day options are not available for personalized runs.
• Foil color is uniform across all cards in a single run — for example, every card has gold foil. If you need different foil colors on different cards (multi-color foil VDP), contact us at hello@isgcxpress.com for a custom quote — multi-color foil requires additional press passes.
• Spot UV applies uniformly to all cards in a run.

Specs & file setup:

• Preferred file format: PDF (PDF/X-1a), AI
• Include 0.125" bleed on all sides
• Keep critical content 0.25" inside trim
• Specify which sides print when you upload artwork — provide blank pages in your PDF for any unprinted sides
• Upload artwork as folded layout (front cover + inside spread + back)
• If using foil: provide a separate spot color layer named "Foil"
• If using Spot UV: provide a separate spot color layer named "SpotUV"
• If using VDP: include placeholder fields ({FirstName}, {Address}, etc.) and upload data CSV or Excel file
